SVSD DRESS CODE
Below you will find a breakdown of classes and the required apparel for each. Hair must be secured properly.Appropriate dress is required for proper correction by the instructor. For your covenience, dancewear is avalable in our boutique.
PLEASE NOTE: a leotard is the garment that covers the torso, while tights are the leg coverings.
BOYS & MEN 1. Should wear tight fitting white shirt and black dancepants, sweats or workout shorts. Black shoes in all classes.
MOMMY 1."Mommy" should be in loose fitting clothing; "Me" should be in dance clothes or romper set.
& ME 2. Both should be in ballet shoes or shoes worn only to dance
TIPPYTOES 1. Pink Leotard without attached skirts,
2. Pink tights and pink ballet shoes
3. Hair, pulled completely away from face in braids, pigtails, or ponytails
PREDANCE 1. Blue Leotard (any shade) without skirt, tights and pink ballet shoes.
1,2 &3 2. C6 and C7 also must have black tap shoes.
3. Hair must be tied up and secured away from face
BALLET 1. Solid Colored Leotard, tights and pink ballet shoes
2. Hair must be tied up and secured away from face. A Bun is preferred!
TAP /JAZZ 1. Any color Leotard or tight fitting tank, black dance shorts or pants
2. Black jazz oxfords or black tap shoes.
3. Hair must be tied up and secured away from face
MODERN 1. Tight fitting dance clothes
2. Class is taught barefoot. Capri or footless tights are appropriate
HIP HOP ,BELLY,ZUMBA, HOOP, BALLROOM
All footwear should be "dance only" shoes.

NO DANCE SKIRTS PLEASE!!! ESPECIALLY ATTACHED SKIRTS FOR LITTLE ONES!
It is very important for all students to have the required clothing for class.
There are several dancewear websites to purchase your dance wear.
We also stock shoes and a limited supply of leotards and tights in the studio @ competitive prices.
